Registered teams and interested members of the public are invited to a presentation of NASA’s Centennial Challenges 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge. There will be a presentation of NASA’s efforts in development of technology to make In-Space Manufacturing more capable for use in space exploration. These technology efforts have the potential to enhance or even enable space exploration. The 3D-Printed Habitat Challenge competitors may contribute to these grand goals and win prize money as well. Challenge sponsor Caterpillar will share information about the competition location at the Edwards Facility near Peoria, Illinois, and some logistics about the on-site competition that will be useful for competing teams
